My work explores what it means to be human. From the intricate details of our anatomy to the depth of emotion, I find endless inspiration in the complexity of humanity. I hope to tell the story of who we are through art. I use the classic techniques and mediums of the old masters to achieve realism while incorporating found objects such as book pages and sheet music for a contemporary aesthetic. My current anatomy series ‘Under the Surface’ portrays the extensive beauty, form, and function hiding beneath our skin. In a society focused on surface beauty, my work turns the lens inward.
